By submitting a notification, the Principal Investigator/lab will be contacted. Materials (i.e., Chemical Hygiene Plan, Lab Waste Guidelines Poster, etc) will be delivered to the laboratory and the process for getting the laboratory registered in the SciShield and/or Chematix/E-trax systems will be initiated.

Listed trainings shall be completed by all personnel working in research wet labs at the university. This includes students, interns and visiting scholars.
Please also be aware that personnel must already have Hazardous Waste training completed for access to the CHEMATIX chemical inventory and the E-TRAX waste ticketing system. Once this has been done, users may request their lab to be set up in this system by sending their name and laboratory information to brianbutler@uky.edu .
